I'm Roisin, the photographer behind Elska Studio. Based in Sydney, I document weddings throughout the Southern Highlands, the South Coast, and destinations beyond.
I’m drawn to documenting connection as it naturally unfolds. The soft moments, the laughter, the movement, the stillness, the way someone reaches for your hand without thinking. I’ve always believed the best photographs feel like memories: warm, nostalgic and beautifully imperfect. Rather than forcing moments or overly posing you, my approach is rooted in storytelling and capturing love as it truly feels.
The name Elska Studio comes from my middle name, ‘Elska’, which means “to love” in Icelandic, derived from Old Norse. At the heart of my work is exaclty that; love in all its forms, and the quiet, honest ways it exists between people.
